The Journey to Australia

We left Issaquah on Friday at about 1:30pm.....right on time. Our friend and neighbor Jen took us to the airport. We got right through ticketing and security and had a lot of time to kill. Luckily the Seattle airport has a great little kids play area and we sat there for about an hour or so. We forgot his monkey backpack/leash - but we did bring the stroller, which made things much easier in the airport. Brennan did not sleep at all on the flight to LA - and was pretty wound up, but his CARES harness worked great to keep him in his seat. We got to LA and barely had time to get checked in and eat McDonalds before we had to get to our gate. We got on the plane at 10:30pm, and were excited to find out that we got to ride in the brand new Airbus A380. It was very posh - even in economy. We gave Brennan his Benedryl and he was out like a light. He slept for about 9-10 hours total, which I was very pleased about. Sean and I just can't sleep on a plane, so we watched a lot of movies. Brennan ended our journey with a big poopie blow-out - thank goodness i had packed extra clothes. We got to my brother's house about 10am on Sunday morning, and Brennan has had so much fun playing with his cousins from the get-go. We're laying low today (Monday) - we leave for the Reef tomorrow.
