In celebration of Brennan & Cassidy's friendship, we had someone from our neighborhood who's trying to start her own photography business take pictures of the kiddos a few weeks ago. They had a great time hiking, and these pictures are just priceless. Cassidy & Jen left today - they are moving to London for 2 years, and we are all feeling very blue today. We will miss them dearly!

My sweet, sweet boy....

Today when Grandpa Ward got here (he's flying to Japan tomorrow to see Sean's brother & family), Brennan ran to the door and then pointed back at me and said "Grandpa, its my best friend, mama...." I'll take it as long as I can get it....

I have to share a cute story. One of my most favorite things to do is to snuggle with my baby right after he wakes up in the morning. This week, he said to Sean (through his thumb in his mouth)...."I'm snugglin with Mama....its great.....and its beautiful." It was so darn cute, and just made me feel so special.....it is a memory I will cherish forever!

Woodstick 2009

Today we ventured to Kirkland for Woodstick. A local drum studio has an annual event where they set a world record for the number of drummers drumming simultaneously (with 11 other cities). We registered Brennan to participate and boy did he have fun. But, it took them so long to get going with the actual drumming, that by the time they actually started, he was "done." He was about 2hours past his naptime, hungry, suffering from major drum envy, and it was very LOUD so he was very over-stimualted. But, we had such a fun time. B is in a lot of strangers pictures, because people couldn't get enough of him and his little drum set.
