We ended up having a complete ‘party repeat’ the day after Brennan’s birthday. About 4:30pm I called Damian Hoffman and offered up the opportunity to watch The Lego Movie in our garage movie theater (he was very bummed to have missed it the day before, and we hadn’t dismantled the whole set-up yet. About that same moment, Kathy confirmed that her sister Lani and her husband Steve could come over for dinner.
While Damian was watching the movie, most of the block of kids who had watched it the day before crashed his party, and I brought them some popcorn and juice for snacks. Jen ended up coming up too, and after the movie was over most stayed for dinner. It really was an amazing weekend – it was a bit of a letdown when it was all over and Nana & Grandpa went home.
And of course, what’s more fun than some rocks and sticks to jump over in the alley.
