Happy Birthday Brennan - Round 1

Brennan's birthday always falls on the holiday, and most of his friends were out of town, so his actual birthday was low key but we did share in the celebration with our good friends Brooke, Stephen, Isaac, Hannah, & Caden (also Brennan's Godparents). Brennan had a very hard time deciding what theme he wanted for his kid party - and lucky for him he ended up getting two cakes....one on his actual birthday (Kung Fu Panda) and one for his Pirate Party (Pirate Hat) the next week.

He and I went to Kung Fu Panda 2 the day before his birthday, so it was very fitting that Nana got him a KFP2 t-shirt that actually changes to color in the sun. Super COOL!
I got the inspiration for his cake on the internet, but it turned out really good.....I was very very proud of it.

The Emmons/Powers family had spent the day at the Northwest Folklife Festival, so Isaac came home very insipired to put on a show - he started off the celebration with a Hat Trick Routine, and had Brennan and the other sit on the birthday bench.

Caelan checked out her godmother's beautiful garden....

Then was Brennan's turn to sing his new favorite song - Bad Romance by Lady Gaga, and usually mashes in Hit Me With Your Best Shot by Martina McBride.
