Last Few Days in Australia

Well, we're home now recovering from jetlag, but I want to finish out the blog!

On Monday, Sean, Brennan and I went back to Manly Beach - to relax and play in the water. We also had some fish and chips for lunch.

On Tuesday, we all got ready to go to Sam and Maddy's speach day. It was a very impressive show of song and dance called The Rock. We were very impressed. At the end, Sam graduated from Year 2. After that we came home so B could have a nap, and then all left the house to spend some more time at the beach. After that we rinsed off in the pool and had take away dinner.

On Wednesday, Julie dropped Sean and I off in Sydney for us to do the Syndey Harbour Bridge Climb. It was quite an adventure for Sean - who is afraid of heights. You get suited up, and you have safety harnesses on, so its really very safe. They won't let you take your camera with you, so I just have some shots from the South Pylon Lookout Tower that we went to after. We came home and played in the pool, and the Wii, and had a great Spaghetti dinner. Packing of course kept me up way too late.

On Thursday, we were up and out of the house and to the airport by 10am. Luckily Julie flashed her Frequent Flyer card and got us checked in quickly because the line was extremely long. After getting through Security, we had about 10 minutes before they started boarding the plane.

Brennan really did so good on the plane. He fell asleep with no fuss at all shortly after we got on the plane. He slept for a couple of hours and woke up just in time to eat his lunch/dinner. He had a great meal of fettucini and meatballs, with jello, cheese and crackers. We had a rough time getting him back to sleep again later, but once he fell asleep he was out for about 5 hours. Then, he also slept almost the whole flight from LA to Seattle.

Like I said, we're home now....and trying to recover from jetlag. We had a fantastic trip and now we find ourselves thrust back into reality - and Christmas! Love and thanks to the Aussie5 for a great time! We love you!!!!
