Happy St. Patrick's Day 2012

We started off the morning with Green Eggs + Smoked Turkey (no ham in the fridge) and donuts.  He was a happy kid - and my green eggs turned out perfectly!
Then, the kids and I headed to Seattle Center for an Irish Festival.  It was a bit of a flop (too crowded and impossible to see the dancers) but the kids had a great time playing and riding the bus/monorail is alway a hit.

Then we went to the Hoffman's house for traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner.  All the kids loved it - funniest moment was Brennan proclaiming that he really liked that "corned chicken stuff."
notice Cassidy made name cards for all of us...mine said Momma and Sean's said Popa.

Breaking Her Life

Last night, Caelan gave the "all done" sign at dinner, but before I could get over to her to get her cleaned up she pushed her milk cup over the edge and onto the floor.  I told her "no" in a harsh tone, and of course she instantly burst into tears.  Brennan was sitting at the breakfast bar and he said "oh no, Mama, you're breaking her life."

The Letterman Jacket Returns

I spent last Saturday sorting through old clothes - which is why all of these comparisons are on the blog.  Here is Caelan in the oh-so-cute "B" Letterman Jacket and Australia shoes (Shoes B wore when we were in Australia)

And, here is B....at 6mo. old in the jacket....

Walking Down Memory Lane Part 3

Pretty sure this little number (also knitted by my godmother Joyce) was worn a whole lot earlier than 15mo....Caelan loved to put on the bonnet even though it really didn't fit.
Here's another little sweater knitted by Joyce - Mom couldn't find any pictures of me in it - but it sure is cute....
