In preparation for our trip to MT, we decided to see if the Uggs that Steve & Julie & family got Caelan woudl fit her.  Yep they did - and she loved them.

On Sunday morning, it started to snow.  In the first round, we got only a skiff (at best) but that doesn't mean that the kids didn't enjoy playing in it!

This shot below is why I just LOVE my new camera.  It took such a crisp clear shot - I LOVE the color of his eyes here.
 Caelan's sly grin.
After we got a second round of snow, we headed down to the sledding hill (park) at the end of our block.  Brennan ran into his friend Alexander from school and they had a blast playing together.

Another AWESOME shot from my new camera of Jen, and her son Ewan at the park.

Caelan was sleeping during the first round of sledding, so after dinner we had to get her bundled up to go play in the snow.  She LOVED it, and LOVED sledding down our little hill in the backyard.  She cried every time I took her out of the sled, and was so excited each time she was put back in it.

Just modeling her cute new dress below - this was taken a few nights ago....before the snow.

Picture Overload with Mama's New Camera

Sean got me a new DSLR camera for Christmas, and I am absolutely LOVING it - even though I don't really know how to use it yet - just operating in "AUTO" mode so far.  BUT, I have been able to capture all the funny little "Caelan" looks that I have never been able to capture before.  I am also having a lot of fun with Picnik, and using it to make collages and edit pictures.  So, here is some random January picture overload......

One last picture of the Gingerbread House - Brennan has agreed that Friday is the day it will have to get thrown away.  I will miss it, I admit, but it takes up a lot of space on my counter, and I keep splashing it with water, so its time to go...

Below is just a cute collage of Caelan in her cute little outfit last night.  Those little bow legs are just so darn cute - especially when wearing those cute striped tights.
Below is a collage of Brennan - he was playing a game of running to each end of the counter to try and avoid getting his picture taken.  I love his smiles of delight.

The pictures below just make me so happy.  Caelan has a lot of very cute expressions that I just haven't been able to capture on film.  I'm so pleased with the quality & clarity of these pictures.....and I love that you can see all the bits of goo from her dinner in her hair.

Brennan and I playing with his transformers below.

Caelan loves to say "hi" to all the other babies who live in our kitchen.
There's one that lives in the fridge....
 and one in the oven.....
 and another in the dishwasher.

My cute baby.....

The Legos Brennan got for Christmas were a big hit.  They keep both of the boys busy....

A few more cute collages....

LOVE this sassy look.  I'm so curious to know if this look will continue as she gets older.  She tends to get it when she's competing with her brother for a toy or something.

Finally, below is photo documentation of Brennan's December preschool projects.  There are two more out in the garage I haven't taken a picture of yet - why are they in the garage, you ask.  Because they shed way way way too much glitter for the house.

Happy New Year!

Before church, I attempted to get a shot of both kids - Caelan wore her "sparkle-y" dress for Christmas again today.
After Church, we went to the park.....and on the way, Caelan fell and bonked her head and scraped her nose.....the first three pictures below were taken pre-fall, the final one was taken after.
One of Brennan's Christmas presents was called Brik-a-Blok.....basically just a modular fort thing.  Both kids like it a lot - thanks Grandma Carol & Grandpa Roger!

Random December Pics

Caelan LOVES to play telephone - she's got such a cute way of saying "Hi...."
 Lovely smile...
Trying to touch Papa's computer - which is why he looks a little grumpy
 Having fun with her train....
Brennan and I set up the nativity at the beginning of December - slowly, he "rearranged" the pieces - because he didn't feel like everyone had a good enough view of Jesus.  This is how he thought they should be.....

Random Christmas Pics

Aunt Molly and Uncle Roland got B a Badmitton set for Christmas - it was an instant hit!

I think this one was actually taken on Christmas Day.

Aunt Molly got Caelan a very pretty "sparkle-y" dress - which she wore for Christmas Eve mass.

Random cute picture - not sure when this was taken....
sad girl - who was suffering from a cold over Christmas - so she was just sad.

Brennan also got a Scooter for Christmas - another big hit!

Christmas 2011

Just a few pictures from Christmas.  Sean bought me a brand new "fancy" DSLR camera for Christmas, so there will definitely be more and more and more PICTURES coming.

Molly and Roland joined us for Christmas, and we bought them 2 1/2 lbs of Crab Legs for Christmas - we ate them as an appetizer for Christmas dinner.
