Breakfast at the Brennans

Its really become something we look forward to when we are "home" in Helena - Sunday morning breakfast/sing along with the Brennans. We had a big bunch this time - so we were outside. The WA visitors melted a little in the hot morning sun...but breakfast was delicious, and the sing along was, of course, fun for all including the kiddos.

Random July Pics

This week Brennan insisted on taking his nap under our "palm tree" in th dining room - worked really well for three days....then it equated to no nap, so that is now done. Back to his bedroom for naps.

This weekend we went to the grand opening of our new Hospital and the Highlands Days carnival. This is Brennan waiting in line for a bouncy house obstacle course. I love his Star Wars t-shirt....and you can tell he was a little bit nervous.

Brooke's two sons - the little one being held like a rag doll is Caden, our godson.

Teddy came along with us to go to the Teddy Bear clinic. He had a small head injury that needed to be bandaged.

Our new neighborhood band....we decided to call them the Bike Helmets. This is Brennan and his friend Nate that lives across the alley from us.

Caelan very much wanted to get over to their garage to play with those toys, but that asphalt was hard on the knees.

Caelan pulled herself up to standing in an effort to get a book out of the bookshelf. WHAT! She just started crawling last week.....this is all going too fast! Holding on with one hand!

A trail of Cheerios....we ate dinner on the patio tonight, and I set Caelan up in her chair for dinner outside. She loves the challenge of Cheerios....and the lighting was so good for great pictures. Those blue eyes melt my heart.

Bike Ride to Pizza

Last night we loaded up the bike and went to our local pizza joint, Zeeks. We had dinner and then went to the local park. Such a great night - it has been so long since we've had such nice weather for more than just a day!

My little model.... I LOVE this picture - notice that Brennan was in charge of holding our leftover pizza....and he did a great job.

Oh happy day, mama got patio furniture! Brennan helped Sean put them together....

We all went to downtown Issaquah for the Down Home parade....

Steak for dinner to celebrate the 4th, and we decided to give a hunk to Caelan to see what she thought of it......she liked it!

"Playing" with Brother.....

Brennan and I went to the Sammamish Farmers Market last night and then went to a park nearby. Somehow when my back was turned he stumbled and fell and hit his eye on the concrete curb that borders the bark in the park. He just had the scrape on his cheek initially, and then Friday morning he woke up with a puffy eye....now he's got a nice shiner. I wonder what color it will be tomorrow morning....
