Our little climber.....
We're starting the process of painting our house, and Brennan has proved to be a fearless climber of the ladder (like Father like Son I've been told)! I've got a video I will post soon - its just too big to post unedited. We've had to create a play pen in the living room using the couch, chair, toy box, recliner, coffee table to keep him out of trouble while Sean works.....he is not happy with that.....and the minute he gets out he makes a beeline for the ladder to start climbing.

Hiking Adventure up Little Mount Si
Brennan and Sean went hiking on Wednesday up to Little Mount Si. Brennan did a lot of hiking and stick gathering, and then he would ride in the backpack when he got tired. They had a snack at the top, and then headed back down. They didn't get home until 2pm and he hadn't had his morning nap so he was one tired kid. He slept the rest of the day, and woke up a little dirty and grumpy.....nothing that a bath couldn't solve!

Brennan's thumb injury
We were getting ready for our Sangria party this Saturday, and Brennan was out in the backyard playing with a lawn chair, and it collapsed and cut his thumb. It was terrible.....he basically sliced the "pad" off his thumb - and its his thumb sucking thumb. So, he wouldn't keep a bandaid on it.....but he did keep it on long enough for it to stop bleeding. He seems to be fine now.......major injuries are no fun for any of us.....
