Young Family Visit - Part 2

This is cousin Eleanor (almost 8)

Brennan of course was in HEAVEN to have someone to play legos with him.  This shot was taken on Sunday after Brennan had completed his second good behavior chart.  We all went to Target so that he could pick out his new lego set, and cousin Sam (11) helped him put it together.

 A rare family shot.....
A fun shot with Jenny Pastore....
 Snugglin' with Eleanor....
On Monday we went to Microsoft to have lunch and go to the Company Store.  Of course, getting a group shot of 5 kids is easier said than done.  Caelan was maxed out and wanted nothing to do with being forced to sit with her cousins.

I love this shot.  Sam (and all the kids) are just so sweet.

Brennan cried his eyes out for 30minutes after his cousins left.  So thankful that we just decided to pull him out of school on Monday so that he could spend a few hours with them.  We look forward to seeing them again, for sure!

The Young Family Visit - Part 1

Due to a broken arm/wrist, my brother and family had to cancel a Spring Break trip to Switzerland.  Instead, they decided to go to Vancouver for a week and then headed down to Issaquah for a long weekend.  We truly had so much fun and it was so relaxing.

The kids had a great time playing games on the XBOX.....and they were so patient teaching Brennan how to play too.  WAY more patient than Sean and I.

We were supposed to have a nice day on Saturday, so we got dressed and headed to Alki Beach in West Seattle - I forgot my camera, but did manage to get some cute shots of the kiddos before we loaded into the car.

There was lots of lego playing.....
 and playing in the park.....

In House Acrobatics Crew

Again, my daredevil daughter would cry hysterically every time Sean put her on the ground to give Brennan a turn.

Happy St. Patrick's Day 2012

We started off the morning with Green Eggs + Smoked Turkey (no ham in the fridge) and donuts.  He was a happy kid - and my green eggs turned out perfectly!
Then, the kids and I headed to Seattle Center for an Irish Festival.  It was a bit of a flop (too crowded and impossible to see the dancers) but the kids had a great time playing and riding the bus/monorail is alway a hit.

Then we went to the Hoffman's house for traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner.  All the kids loved it - funniest moment was Brennan proclaiming that he really liked that "corned chicken stuff."
notice Cassidy made name cards for all of us...mine said Momma and Sean's said Popa.

Future prom dates?

Caelan really liked the brownies for dessert....

 Ya think she liked it?
