I volunteered Caelan to model again - this time for Sarah Sweetman Photography. These turned out so BEAUTIFUL! I can't wait to print these and get them on the wall!

Jean Jacket Excitement

So, I was sorting through clothes this weekend - and came upon this jean jacket. I asked B to try it on to see if it fit, and he got REALLY excited about it. I think its because I have a jean jacket I wear a lot in the summer.

Who would have known that a jean jacket was all I needed to get Brennan to pose and smile for pictures. He was SO EXCITED to wear his jean jacket to school this morning, and was willing to pose for me. And was very excited to strike the first pose below. Is this a handsome boy, or what? I know I am biased. That smile will forever melt my heart.

Backyard Fun

First one isn't really backyard "fun" - but it does show that Caelan is getting to be a very brave climber. She got in the shoe basket by our backyard, and was leaning down and removing all the shoes. We're in for "TROUBLE."

This Saturday we went to a birthday party - and they had a water table there. Caelan LOVED it - and was absolutely soaked at the end of the night.

September has really been warm and sunny here - which is awesome given the crummy summer we had. We improvised to find a pool for the kids today. It was a little small, but a HIT with both kids.

Brennan's First REAL Day of Preschool

On Wednesday, Brennan had his first REAL day at Preschool.....meaning we actually just dropped him off and Sean picked him up again at noon. Needless to say he is LOVING it. He insisted on driving all the way to my work after school to show me the paper plate "apple" he made at school. I thought it was for me to have at my office, but I was wrong. He just wanted to show it to me. It was nice to hear about what he did. He claims he got in "big trouble" for hiding in the toy fire truck.

Fun at the Beach & in the Backyard

This weekend we went to Newcastle Beach Park with the kids and our friends from the park, Kertan, and her parents Prashant & Pryia.

Proof again that our girl LOVES the water.....

I just love how Caelan crosses her feet in her highchair. Again, this is somewhat tradition, as Brennan would hold his feet in just the same way. Again, another picture to dig up.....on another night.....

Posing in THE rocking chair.....

This chair is one that I rocked in as a little girl. I took the kids out in the yard last night to try and get some pictures of Caelan in the chair. Of course, Brennan wanted to join in too.....

This is tradition......both kids always go to try and stand on the rocker.....I'll have to dig up a picture of Brennan doing the same....

Caelan frequently tilts her head to the side like this when she is eating.....not sure what that is about, but its pretty funny.
So, of course Brother had to join in too...
