Ocean Shores, WA - April 2010

We had a great trip to the ocean last weekend!
Holding onto the kite....Brennan got bored with this very quickly...

The game of "running towards the sea, throwing in rocks, and then running away from the waves as quickly as possible" has begun....

Yes, he fell again & got this shirt wet, but he didn't want to change it.

This was before he had to get cleaned up and changed into dry clothes....he had sand in every crack and crevice, so we had to dunk him in the water to try and get him cleaned off.....BRR!!

Brennan the Baby; Brennan the Toddler

I loaned some baby stuff to some friends and we got them back last weekend. Brennan was very eager to see if he could still sit in his bumbo chair. His bottom/legs haven't grown much since then - so yep, he still fits....he also wanted to see if he still fit in his old bed. Its a tight squeeze, but yep, he still fits.....

Super Soaker

Brennan got a "prize" from Rowan's 1st birthday party - a super soaker. Not sure I like the whole "gun lookalike" part of it, but he sure had fun with it.

Happy Easter!!

It was a very cold and rainy Easter here in Issaquah. First, Brennan and I went to Gilman Village to trick or treat....oh I mean get easter eggs from the merchants there. Brennan kept saying "Happy Halloween" - it was pretty funny.



Then, we went to the grand opening of this new place called "Adventure Playcare" and they had a fire engine, bouncy houses, pizza, ice cream, and every toy under the sun to play with inside. It was very hard to tear Brennan away from there.





Saturday night Brennan and I dyed Easter Eggs. These were MONSTER easter eggs (the only pack that was left at Target) - so the pack came with monster stickers of eyes & mouths, and crazy hair.

Brennan kept repeating "He is Risen Indeed" at church today. Happy Easter everyone....he is ,in fact, Risen Indeed!
